Kim Carroll has been a wellness and health-care professional for 20 years. She was board certified in therapeutic massage therapy and bodywork in 2001 and worked in the healing arts for over a decade as a massage therapist. She graduated with her Master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of New Mexico in 2011 and has been practicing as an occupational therapist for the last 10 years in subacute inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, and home health care settings.

As an occupational therapist, Kim’s expertise and passion lie in treating adults (ages 40-100) with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions including spinal cord injuries, stroke, and Parkinson’s disease. She’s a PWR! (Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery) certified therapist and a certified yoga instructor which allows her to integrate yoga, breathwork and mindfulness techniques into her practice. She has a deep understanding of the mind-body-spirit connection with her experience as a transcendental meditation practitioner, additional training in life-coaching, reiki, energy work, and myofascial release, and craniosacral therapy. Currently, Kim is pursuing a life coaching certification with the Co-Active Training Institute in order to further incorporate holistic and integrative health care approaches for both patients and health care practitioners for self-care.
